The Future of Yoga | by Dr Kausthub Desikachar
Yoga is at an interesting crossroads. Project KAVACAM | Final Report
On the 10th May 2021, we had launched Project KAVACAM, to help raise funds to support a local hospital in India to help battle COVID-19. The campaign ran from 10 - 15 May 2021. For more information on the campaign please click here.
Our goal was to raise funds from our students and well-wishers from around the world, who are part of the Viniyoga® tradition, to help supply protective medical equipment like facemasks, hand sanitisers and gloves to the Medical staff (Doctors, Nurses and Ward assistants), as well as arrange for life-saving equipment like Oxygen concentrators for the patients admitted in the hospital.

Project KAVACAM
Namaste dear friends
As many of you have heard from the news, India is going through a terrible time with a pandemic and each of us are trying to do our best to not only stay safe ourselves but also keep others safe.

Owing to a lack of equipment, the health care workers such as doctors, nurses, and volunteers are at risk, while they are dedicating themselves to care for the COVID affected patients.
