We in the Viniyoga tradition are delighted that women occupy critical positions in our lineage. Our senior-most teacher, Menaka Desikachar, is a woman, as are most of our trainers. Almost all our staff are women. A vast majority of our current students are female, and we are delighted that our future representatives will be therefore mostly women. I am also honoured that I am a father to a most amazing daughter Śraddhā.
