Yogasūtra of Patañjali | Viniyoga with Dr Kausthub Desikachar

Dr. Kausthub Desikachar is the current lineage holder of the Viniyoga® tradition worldwide. He succeeds his father TKV Desikachar, and his grandfather T Krishnamacharya. His objectives include the sharing of the authentic teachings of Yoga to the modern era, as well as building bridges between different healing modalities to promote physical, emotional social and spiritual health.

I.21 - tīvra-saṁvegānām-āsannaḥ

The more intense the faith, the closer is the goal.

This Sūtra clarifies that when our faith is intense, the effort we put in will be focused and sustain. This will definitely lead us to the goal more sooner than later. It reminds us that a lot depends not just on what we practice, but with how much faith and intensity we practice.
