Hanumān, the Monkey God, is among the most popular deities in the Vedic culture and is revered equally in India and many Asian countries. He has also inspired the creation of local deities in different countries such as Sun Wukong (Monkey King) in China.
Not only is he the possessor of all the eight Siddhi-s, but he is an example of humility and devotion. His devotion to Lord Rāma is unparalleled and is a great example of Prapatti (surrender to divine). His many heroics make him a darling of children and adults alike. He is the son of the Wind God and a devotee of Lord Rāma. He knows no fear, as his faith is of the highest calibre.
This mantra is the Hanumān-mantra and has the power to remove our fears and instil great confidence. Listen to it about 8 times, thrice a day, at sunrise, sunset and dusk.
