Bhāskarāya-namaḥ

The sun is also called as Bhāskara, meaning the one who brings radiance / glittering light. The symbolism is that in times when darkness takes over, we need a radiant and bright light to illuminate our hearts. Darkness is not necessarily other people or other things, but rather our own dark thoughts and emotions. When we act from our ego, our fears, our aversions, or our traumas we won't expand into our potential. Our actions will be based on our hurt, rather than our heart. So our ancient Ṛṣi-s worshipped the sun, a natural source of radiant light, to help connect with our own inner light, so that we may act from our heart, not our hurts.

Listen or recite to this mantra 12 times, once in the morning and once in the afternoon for two weeks, visualizing a radiant sun in your heart.
