I.3 - tadā draṣṭuḥ svarūpe-avasthānam

Then, Seer is established in its own true nature [allowing it to fully and correctly understand and experience the true nature of the object of focus.]

In the state of Yoga, the different preconceptions and projections on the object of focus that can prevent or impede correct understanding are reduced or eliminated.  The tendency to be closed to fresh comprehension or the inability to correctly comprehend is overcome.
